Radiating from the sky, Rayquaza GX has emerged over the Hoenn region in the brand new 96+ card set from the  Pokémon TCG - SM7 Sky-Splitting Charisma!

Released June 1 st, and available to order from Plaza Japan now, SM7 is the brand new Hoenn-themed expansion. It brings with it one of the most iconic Pokémon around - the Legendary Pokémon, Rayquaza.

Rayquaza GX could be the only reason you need to get SM7 - It's ability "Surging Gale" means that when played from your hand, you can discard the top 3 cards from your deck and attach a discarded energy straight onto Rayquaza, powering it up immediately! As you'd expect, there are more Hoenn favourites to be discovered here as Shiftry GX, Blaziken GX and Altaria GX are the other "RR" Pokémon in Sky-Splitting Charisma, along with our penultimate Ultra Beast, Stakataka GX! With a great mix of 5 brand new Pokémon, we can't wait to see the "SR" and "HR" forms of these cards!

However, Rayquaza isn't Hoenn's only Legendary Pokémon! Beyond the Splitting-Sky and to the stars, Prism Stars to be precise! After taking a break in SM6B, the recently introduced mechanic makes a dynamic return to the Pokémon TCG with three brand new cards, including the only Pokémon worthy of being called a star - the Wish-Pokémon, Jirachi! The mythical Jirachi is joined by Hoenn's two Eon guardians, Latios and Latias, and as expected these Prism Star cards are as powerful as they are beautiful!

The Items for SM7 include a great mix of old and new. Strong favourites Ultra Ball, Rare Candy, Switch, Pokémon Catcher and Choice Band are reintroduced along with the brand-new Crisis Potion, Acro Bike, Rainbow Brush and Hustle Belt. Will you be the first to discover which of these new items have a golden "SR" variant? We can't wait to find out.

The Supporters for Sky-Splitting Charisma revert back to the dominant Hoenn theme once more, and it wouldn't be much of a Hoenn set without the region's very own champion. Having been a prominent card in the XY era

, Steven marks his Sun and Moon debut with Steven's Decision, an incredible new Supporter card that also comes in stunning "SR" Full Art. The already confirmed Full Art Supporters don't stop there! Joining Steven are more characters originating from Hoenn, as "The Mystic Combination" and leaders of the Mossdeep City Gym, Tate and Liza are introduced alongside the Pokémon Contest icon herself, Lisia. It's safe to say the "SR" Supporters of SM7 are something to be revered!

Are we forgetting any more notable Hoenn names? Let’s be honest. It's no easy task to include all of Hoenn's legendary prowess in one set, and with a set like Sky-Splitting Charisma already bursting at the seams, Groudon and Kyogre have still managed to sneak in as powerful holo cards! Even the form-shifting Deoxys is a holo!

Is your deck ready for the power of a Pokémon capable of Splitting the Sky? SM7 is packed with the might of Hoenn's most powerful Pokémon ready to blow the winds of battle in your favour! With impressive brand-new Trainer cards and the reintroduction of Prism Stars alike, Sky-Splitting Charisma is a set simply not to skipped, so don't miss out on all the excitement and order from Plaza Japan today!
