The proverb is a reference to a lucky occurrence, as duck stew is said to be delicious when served with green onions. Due to the rarity of such a lucky event, some may say that it’s “far-fetched”.

5. Mew was added just two weeks before game development finished for Pokemon Red and Green.

The rapid paneling in the manga has been translated smoothly through the anime’s extended choreography, and the sakuga bursts you know and love. No episode so far has showcased that better than episode 8. Higuruma fans, eat your heart out.

Considering how many episodes there are in Jujutsu Kaisen season 3 (12 for part 1!), there are a ton of great fights left to look forward to.

The biggest change so far has been the speedier introduction of Higuruma’s much-awaited domain debut and early colony skirmishes.

Hell’s Paradise: Season 2

Hell’s Paradise, or Jigokuraku, is been keeping us on the edge of our seats; we are so glad that this winter 2026, we finally get more of the anime with some of the most stunning animation we’ve seen. Season 1 of Hell’s Paradise aired back in the spring of 2023, and it’s felt like an eternity since that mind-bending cliffhanger last season.

By the end of its fantastic and fantastical first season, our flawed hero, Gabimaru, is stuck on the island Shinsenkyo, battling demons and beginning to question his own reality. Ironically, “Shinsenkyo” means “divine paradise,” but his own experiences were the opposite of idyllic. After all, it wasn’t like Gabimaru exactly wanted to be escorted around by the executioner Sagiri in a “do or die” mission.

Just as ironically, Gabimaru was searching for a mythical flower to prolong the emperor’s life, when all he wanted to do was stop living his. By the end of Season 1, he was questioning the very reality of that life.

Good thing we don’t need any special elixir to hold out any longer! Hell’s Paradise is an absolute must-watch anime for the winter of 2026.

Oshi No Ko: Season 3

Oshi No Ko continues its anime this 2026 winter with its newest season, and we are very starry-eyed about it all! Just like its first two seasons, Oshi No Ko continues the saga of the highest highs and the lowest lows of the J-Pop scene. It’s bittersweet that school’s out for My Hero Academia after eight incredible seasons having us wish all things didn’t have to come to an end. We’ve come to know and love so many solid and unforgettable characters like Bakugo, Tomura Shiragaki, and of course, Izuko Midoriya, or Deku. My Hero Academia isn’t just one of the best anime of 2025, it might just be one of the best ever made to date.

Dan Da Dan

Like My Hero Academia, Dan Da Dan is an instant classic that quickly became one of the most popular anime ever. 2025’s season continues the story of Momo, Okaron, and plenty more run-ins with the occult, other dimensions, and other typical teenage adventures.
