This set includes seatbelts used with the Lockheed C-2 ejection seat and a cockpit rearview mirror for the F-104 fighter. In addition to the F-104, the seatbelts can be widely adapted for seats installed in 1950s jet fighters.
Although made of plastic, the seatbelts combine flexibility—allowing them to be bent and twisted freely with fingers or tweezers—with durability that resists breaking. This enables them to fit smoothly to the contours of aircraft seats.
They are compatible with model adhesives and paints, and offer excellent paint adhesion unique to plastic materials.
Furthermore, unlike metal parts, there is no concern about paint chipping on areas pinched with tweezers.
