The TAKI1000 is a tank car introduced in 1993 to speed up petroleum transport trains. It is equipped with FT21 bogies based on the KOKI100 series FT1 bogies, allowing it to travel at a maximum speed of 95 km/h. As a main type of gasoline tank car, it operates actively in the Kanto, Tohoku, and Chubu regions.
From 2024, some vehicles will feature the COSMO Oil logo, mainly connecting from Hamagoi Station on the Keiyo Rinkai Railway to Kanto, Shinshu, and Tohoku areas.
