The WAKI 5000 is a bogie covered freight car designed for high-speed freight trains, based on the WAKI 10000, with a maximum speed of 85 km/h. It was primarily used for transporting paper products and motorcycles. However, due to the decline in freight transport and the transition to container transport, all units were retired from freight service by the late 1990s.
