The Meitetsu series WAM6000 was a covered freight car built based on the JNR series WAM60000, originally finished in blue livery. Later repainted black to match other freight rolling stock, these cars were used as JNR direct-operated freight cars to transport cargo from the Meitetsu Line onto the JNR network. Many were scrapped after yard transfers to JNR ended in 1984.
