[LA104] Sten Mk2 Type
The Sten Gun is a 9mm submachine gun developed in the UK during WWII. In 1940, the UK faced
a severe shortage of firearms due to U-boat deployments, homeland air raids, and equipment
losses from the Dunkirk evacuation. The Sten Gun emerged as a solution to this crisis.
Featuring a design focused on production efficiency, it used pipe materials for the receiver
and adopted a simple trigger mechanism. Its high production efficiency was demonstrated by
its manufacture in any factory capable of metalworking, even in toy manufacturing facilities.
The Sten Gun played a crucial role in overcoming national disadvantages and provided a
glimpse of hope for resistance. Little Armory has reproduced the most mass-produced Mk.2
model and its special operations model S in a set of two. It offers customizable styles with
three types of stocks and the option to include a bayonet.
