Ishihara Promotions' first authentic television drama was the 'Big City' series, starring Tetsuya Watari. However, with the series' progression into 'PART II' in '77 and 'PART III' in '78, there was an increase in entertainment elements like car chases, forming the foundation for the later 'Western Police' series.
The development of the 'Big City' series started with TLV-NEO. In this second installment, the taxi version of the 230 Cedric featured in a spectacular car chase in PART III Episode 17, 'Kidnapping,' is being commercialized.
