The 'Big City' series was the first full-scale TV drama produced by Ishihara Promotion, starring Tetsuya Watari. The first installment, 'Big City - Days of Struggle,' aired in 1976 as a socially conscious drama focusing on detectives. As the series progressed with 'PART II' in 1977 and 'PART III' in 1978, it introduced more entertainment elements such as car chases, becoming the foundation for the later 'Western Police' series.
The 'Big City' series continues its development with TLV-NEO. This time, two cars featured in episode 40, 'Doctor Munakata's Testimony,' from PART III are being made into products. The President driven by Professor Munakata, played by Yujiro Ishihara, and the Gloria attempting to push the President towards the railroad crossing are faithfully recreated.
