The route buses operated by Okayama Electric Tramway (commonly known as Okaden Bus) are managed by a company headquartered in Okayama City, Okayama Prefecture. Centered around Okayama Station and Tenmaya Bus Station, the company operates a network of routes serving the areas around Okayama Station.
One of the iconic vehicles in the Okaden Bus fleet, Bus No. 890, a Nishikawa 58MC, will be retired at the end of October 2025, marking 35 years since its debut in January 1990.
This bus is notable for being the only operational vehicle in Okayama City that meets the 1983 emissions regulations (P-regulation vehicle). Its distinctive features — such as round headlights and a chrome bumper — have made it a favorite among bus enthusiasts in recent years.
