Real Vehicle Guide: The Chuugoku Highway Bus connects Osaka with Tsuyama in Okayama Prefecture, with some routes extending to Nishiwaki City, Kasai City, and Kato City in Hyogo Prefecture. Officially named "Chuugoku Express Line," it began operation on November 1, 1975, as a joint service by Shinki Bus and JNR Bus (now West Japan JR Bus). In November 2025, it will celebrate its 50th anniversary.
