The Kintetsu series 8000 is a train type introduced in 1964 for use on the Nara and Kyoto Lines.
The earliest units were equipped with ceiling fans, and the roof-mounted ventilators became a distinctive exterior feature.
Both 2-car sets and later 4-car sets—formed by adding intermediate cars—were in service on these lines until 2002.
Currently, some series 8000 cars have been modified and integrated into other train types, while later-production units remain in operation.
This time, we will release models of the 4-car set in its updated livery—applied after air-conditioning modifications, featuring an ivory base with maroon window and skirt bands—as well as 2-car sets in the transitional livery, notable for its unique front-end color separation.
-The train can be motorized to an N scale train and is compatible with TM-14 Motorized Chassis, TT-04R Trailer Conversion Kit, and Tomix 0238 Pantograph.
