The Toyama Chiho Railway's tram lines extend north and south, centering around Toyama Station. On March 21, 2020, the north-south connection operation began, serving as a daily transportation method for Toyama citizens, as well as a means of commuting, school transport, and moving tourists. The T100 series, introduced from 2010 to 2017, is affectionately known as the Suntram, distinguished by its large-capacity three-link car bodies. Car number 104 was introduced as the fourth set of the Suntram series in 2017, featuring an orange base design with a yellow line below the windows at the time of introduction.
