Niigata Kotsu is a bus operator headquartered in Niigata City.
Its network extends throughout the Kaetsu region, centered on Niigata City, and together with its group companies—Niigata Kotsu Kanko Bus and Niigata Kotsu Sado—it is collectively known as the Niigata Kotsu Group.
The company also operates express buses to major cities such as Tokyo, Nagoya, and Nagano.
Its buses are characterized by a silver body with blue stripes and a red roof, inspired by the sunset over the Sea of Japan, and are commonly referred to as “Silver Buses.”
