The Kumoya 145 series is a utility locomotive-type car built during the Japanese National Railways (JNR) era.
It was converted from the JNR 101 series EMU, reusing components such as the motors and bogies.
After being inherited by JR West, the trains were renumbered into the “1000 series” by adding 1000 to their original car numbers when their motors and other equipment were replaced, and they continue to operate mainly in the Kansai area today.
-The train can be motorized to an N scale train and is compatible with TM-14 Motorized Chassis, TT-04R Trailer Conversion Kit, and Tomix 0230 Pantograph.
