The Utsunomiya Light Rail, which opened in August 2023, is Japan’s first entirely newly constructed LRT line, nicknamed the Light Line.
It connects Utsunomiya Station East Exit in Utsunomiya City, Tochigi Prefecture, across the Kinugawa River to the Haga-Takanezawa Industrial Park in Haga Town, covering a total distance of 14.6 km.
We are releasing a model of the type HU300, 2nd set, which features a streamlined front and a striking yellow body color.
The line also includes stops where trains can switch between local and express services. This distinctive island-style stop is included with the model. By removing certain parts, it can also be converted into a standard side platform stop.
