Tomytec JR KUMOYUNI Type 143 (Yokosuka Livery) 2 Cars Set (N scale)

The Kumo-Yuni type 143 was introduced in 1981 to coincide with the modernization of the Minobu Line.

In response to the operational needs of the line, the vehicle was designed as a combined car equipped with both a mail compartment and a baggage compartment.

The car was later transferred to the Nagaoka Operations Center and also used in the Niigata area. Around 1986, it was reassigned to the Makuhari Depot, where it was used for newspaper and baggage transport in the Boso area, remaining in mainline service until 1996.

After that, it was used at various depots as a shunting vehicle, and to this day, Kumo-Yuni 143-3 still exists as a training machine.
