The Nankai Electric Railway 6200 series was introduced in 1974 for service on the Koya Line.
Like the 6000 and 6100 series, it features an all-stainless-steel body, but its front design is characterized by straight lines, giving it a different look from earlier models.
The series operates in both 6-car and 4-car formations, and it is often coupled with other train types in service.
Currently, the 4-car sets have a different exterior appearance due to refurbishment work carried out starting in 2009.
-The train can be motorized to an N scale train and is compatible with TM-08R Motorized Chassis, TT-04R Trailer Conversion Kit, and Tomix 0258 Pantograph.
