The DE10 locomotive type belonging to the JR Freight Aichi Depot was active in shunting, inspection trains, and hauling special transportation in the Nagoya area. The unit 1557 was the only JR Freight locomotive in the new update to omit the JRF mark on the sides and was the last of the DE10 type to remain at the Aichi Depot. In its final year of operation in 2024, it was loaned to the Okayama Depot and operated alongside unit 1561 before retiring in March 2025.
The DE10 type from the JR Freight Okayama Depot was active in shunting at the Kurashiki Freight Terminal and hauling direct freight trains to the Mizushima Rinkai Railway. Unit 1561 was the last locomotive remaining at the Okayama Depot, featuring a distinctive broken white stripe on the front due to inspection at the Hiroshima Depot, along with black side frames. In 2021, it received silver decorations on its chimney and couplers. Like unit 1557, unit 1561 retired in March 2025, marking the complete retirement of all DE10 types from JR Freight.
