About the Real Aircraft
- The CH-53E Super Stallion is a large helicopter developed by Sikorsky in the United States. While originally developed as a large transport helicopter, the MH-53E Sea Dragon, a variant version equipped with mine countermeasure systems, was born.
- A distinctive feature of the MH-53E Sea Dragon is its large sponsons on both sides of its body. It has been operated not only by the US Navy but also by Japan's Maritime Self-Defense Force since 1990.
