That famous artwork everyone knows comes to life as a figma—that’s the Table Museum series.
The ninth installment features “Ghost Painting” (幽霊図) (also known as “Hanging Incense Painting” (反魂香図)) by Maruyama Ōkyo, a popular Edo-period artist.
This piece, considered the first depiction of a “ghost without feet,” has been sculpted in delicate detail. By swapping certain parts, you can also recreate the more eerie version of the ghost as originally drawn by Ōkyo.
Experience the beautiful, frightening, and subtly humorous world of ghost paintings through figma.
To accompany the three-dimensional transformation of the artwork, a custom frame part is included, allowing for a display that looks as if the figure has leapt out of the painting.
Enjoy this fresh take on turning paintings into figures, with room for varied interpretations.
