To commemorate the 30th anniversary of the "Evangelion" series, a special product featuring the "Gaius's Spear," which measures over 370mm, is released. This product comes with a unique appearance and texture, utilizing clear materials.
It includes a special black molded stand adorned with a holographic anniversary logo and parts for holding the spear with the left and right hands. Joint parts for display are also provided. Note that the main body and weaponry are identical to the "METAL BUILD Evangelion Unit-01" released in February 2019.
Evangelion Unit-01, known as the 'Steel Evangelion,' possesses a body of metal interpreted through the exceptional design aesthetic of the main mechanic designer, Ikuto Yamashita, specifically for METAL BUILD. The use of alloy throughout the body enhances the overwhelming texture of the steel frame. The carefully refined design achieves an imposing dynamic presence.
The Magoroku Exterminate Sword and Counter Sword have a matte-finished plating, enhancing their texture. Various weapons can be mounted on the thigh pylons and shoulders, allowing the creation of diverse styles and silhouettes. Additional armor attached to the head and shins generates a fresh image. The Palette Rifle can be customized into a long barrel or bayonet configuration using optional parts. Newly designed wrist parts for grasping the spear are included.
