Arukuma is a very rare bear said to appear in Shinshu (Nagano).
Despite being a bear, Arukuma is sensitive to the cold and is always seen wearing a headpiece.
Also unusual for a bear, Arukuma loves traveling and always carries a backpack.
Walking all across Shinshu without missing a spot, Arukuma spreads the region’s charm far and wide—and now does so nationwide as a fully articulated plastic model kit!
The Plafia Arukuma faithfully recreates the character’s adorable design, featuring Arukuma wearing an apple, one of Shinshu’s famous local specialties.
The parts can be easily removed from the runners by hand—no nippers required—making assembly simple and fun♪
Included accessories feature interchangeable facial expression parts, hands, a miniature Nagano Prefecture–shaped plate, and an apple-shaped plate printed with “I love NAGANO.”
