This is a plastic model kit and assembly is required.
- New parts include bridge, chain deck, shelter deck, mast, top of turret, long protruding range finder hood
and other characteristics of Ashigara are modeled. In particular, the anti-aircraft armament includes 28 units with the addition of a single machine gun.
- Two sets of turret upper parts are included to reproduce the turret upper form with various theories.
- The main gun barrel has been opened.
- The external electric circuit is a separate part made of soft material (included in the kit).
