Aoshima's Waterline series has been renewed and is more precise than ever!

1/700 Waterline Series Submarine "I1" and "I6" are now available! The main guns, machine guns, carrier vessels, and various fittings have been re-evaluated and redesigned. By incorporating a large number of slide mechanisms into the molds, we've precisely recreated the intricacies of the 1/700 scale.

During the Pacific War, despite their outdated design, submarines "I1" and "I6" achieved significant results by sinking enemy ships. "I1" had notable victories, while "I6" fought fiercely from the Indian Ocean to the Aleutian Islands. These two submarines are now available as a 1/700 scale plastic model kit. The parts are thoughtfully designed for simplicity and ease of assembly, accurately capturing every detail. A newly designed 14cm single gun is also included, enhancing the expressive precision and detail of the 1/700 scale.
