This is a plastic model kit and
assembly is required. The outfitting parts have been newly researched and redesigned. By incorporating multiple slide mechanisms into the molds, we've accurately reproduced the intricate details of the 1/700 scale.
We proudly present the reborn, more precise 1/700 scale warship (full-hull model) series.
The second ship of the Fuso class battleships, Yamashiro, distinguished by its uniquely massive pagoda style superstructure, was completed in 1917 during World War I. After undergoing several modernization refits, it took part in the Pacific War. In the 1944 Battle of Leyte Gulf, it advanced into the Surigao Strait as part of Nishimura’s fleet, where it engaged U.S. forces alongside Fuso and was ultimately sunk.
This kit reproduces Yamashiro as she appeared in the late Pacific War, heavily reinforced with additional anti aircraft weaponry. The parts layout focuses on essential features, making the model simple, accurate, and easy to assemble. Newly designed components include the numerous anti aircraft machine guns, high angle guns, aircraft catapult, and other fittings.
・No etching needed — the searchlight truss is fully reproduced through molding!
