Aoshima 1/700 Waterline No. 1 Destroyer Murasame Plastic Model

Description

The Murasame is a Murasame class destroyer planned under the 1991 fiscal program and commissioned on March 12, 1996. A third generation helicopter capable general purpose destroyer following the Amagiri class, she is assigned to the Yokosuka First Escort Flotilla. The hull and superstructure feature angled surfaces to enhance stealth. Nine ships of this class were built, and together with the successor Takanami and Akizuki classes they serve as core units of the escort fleet.

This kit faithfully recreates DD101 Murasame with a compact parts count for easier assembly. A newly added color printed painting guide helps achieve an accurate finish.
