The 1/700 Waterline Series now reintroduces the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force (JMSDF) destroyer DD102 Harusame.
Harusame is the second ship of the Murasame-class destroyers planned in 1992 and was commissioned on March 24, 1997. The ship’s design incorporates stealth features, with sloped hulls and superstructures. She has participated in anti-piracy operations off Somalia and the Gulf of Aden, as well as the Rim of the Pacific (RIMPAC) exercises.
This kit reproduces Harusame accurately while keeping the number of parts low, making it easy to assemble. Newly added instructions include color-printed painting diagrams.
