This is a plastic model kit and assembly is required.
A faithful scale model of the classic Volkswagen Beetle Cabriolet, a German popular car that introduced an open top Cabriolet as early as 1949. The body was coachbuilt by Karmann, marked by an emblem on the front quarter panel. The thick, weather resistant folding soft top and the distinctive silhouette of the large folded hood are faithfully reproduced.
Historical highlights:
- From 1971 the 1302S with MacPherson strut front suspension was chosen as the base.

- Beetle production in Germany ended in 1978, but Cabriolet production continued until 1980.
