Aoshima The Model Car No 12 1/24 Nissan BNR32 Skyline GT-R 1989 Plastic Model (Rerelease)

The BNR32 GT-R debuted in August 1989 at the height of Japan's bubble economy as an additional model of the R32 Skyline, which had previously been introduced as the "Super Sensory Skyline." After a 16-year hiatus since the Kenmeri GT-R, the Skyline GT-R lineage returned. The BNR32 was born to win the top level of domestic touring car racing at the time, the Group A JTC All-Japan Touring Car Championship. Its purpose-built RB26DETT powerplant was designed with displacement determined to meet Group A regulations. The BNR32 Skyline GT-R achieved complete victories in every JTC race it entered, creating the legendary run of 29 consecutive wins. From street to circuit, the BNR32 dominated every stage and established itself as a historic and iconic car.
