Introduced in February 1981 with the slogan "To the unexplored zone," the Soarer evolved into the third-generation Z30 on May 7, 1991. Developed as a new-generation super grand tourer pursuing romance and advanced technology, the Z30 introduced an innovative form with voluminous curved surfaces that completely refreshed the Soarer image.
