- Ideal for shaping during prototype making and full scratch modeling where strong cutting power is required.
- SOFT2 features a three-layer construction: a hard base core in the center sandwiched between softer bases above and below, with sandpaper mounted on both sides.
- HARD2 uses a rigid base body with sandpaper mounted on both sides for a firmer sanding surface.

- HARD2 is made entirely from rigid material and is not recommended for cutting into custom shapes.
