- The signal body uses a 64 mm straight track section, increasing freedom to place signals compared with previous models. Combined with the included auxiliary track pieces, it can also be used as a 124 mm straight track section equivalent, matching the length of previous products. Connection to a stop signal button is supported to expand play variations.
- Power can be supplied simply by connecting a cable to the accessory adapter on the Power Pack Standard SX / Hyper DX, or to the Anywhere Power Connector.
- The signal body has been made smaller than before to reproduce a realistic appearance and to improve installation flexibility in tight spaces and on the diverging side of turnouts. Combined with the two included 30 mm straight track pieces, the total straight length is equivalent to 124 mm, allowing replacement of previous products and compatibility with the 20-421 signal overpass 124 mm.
- Power supply supports DC 12 V. It can be powered by connecting the 24-829 / 829BK accessory adapter attached to 22-018 / 018BK Power Pack Standard SX (plus 22-082 N AC adapter) or 22-017 Power Pack Hyper DX, or by connecting to the 22-081 Anywhere Power Connector.
- Do not use power packs earlier than 22-012 Power Pack Standard S as the operating power source for this product. Doing so may cause malfunction.
- The sensor uses a flange touch method to ensure reliable operation.
- When a train passes, the signal changes from green to red, then automatically returns from red to yellow and back to green. When a train is moving opposite to the signal direction, the signal remains red.
- Compatible with the separately sold 24-848 stop signal button. When connected and the button is pressed, the signal is forced to remain red.
- The unit automatically detects the layout power system (analog or DCC). Using the 22-081 Anywhere Power Connector (plus 22-082 N AC adapter) for signal power allows use on DCC layouts.
- On DCC layouts, signals at standby will be green regardless of travel direction. To set the signal to red when a train is moving opposite the signal direction, use the 24-848 stop signal button.
