Kato 10-2006 Odakyu Romancecar NSE (Type 3100) Yume 70 11 Cars Set (N scale)

The NSE (3100 series) was introduced in 1963 as part of efforts to enhance tourist transportation capacity. While it inherited features like low center of gravity and articulated structure from the previous SE (3000 series) train, the leading car was upgraded to a more deluxe style with a driver・€・s seat on the second floor and a scenic view area at the front. Between 1977 and 1978, air conditioning systems were expanded to increase cooling capacity. From 1983, after the LSE (7000 series) was introduced, the body underwent renovations including an automatic retractable front name indicator, shape change (from pentagon to rectangle), expanded cafﾃｩ and shop areas necessitating some door repositions, and changes to exterior gangway bellows to a polyurethane core type. In 1997, one trainset was transformed into the special express "Yume 70" to commemorate Odakyu Electric Railway's 70th anniversary, gaining popularity with its sofa seats and vibrant exterior.
