The 313 Series 1000 Subseries was introduced in 1999, with all three trainsets assigned to the Jinryo depot, operating on the Chuo Main Line in the Nagoya area. The interior features rotating cross seats, except for the car ends of the KUHA312, which have long seats. In 2023, all cars were relocated to the Ogaki depot, with formation numbers changed to J11-13, and are operating on the Tokaido Main Line.
