Kato 10-2073 Series HB-E300 'Resort Shirakami' (Beech Configuration) 4 Cars Set (N scale)

HB-E300 series "Resort Shirakami" (beech formation), like the previously introduced "Aoike formation", is equipped with large windows, observation space, and event space, and is used as a tourist train on the Gono Line. It is also characterized by being an eco-friendly vehicle that responds to the "natural environment" by using a hybrid system that uses both an engine and a motor. It was introduced in 2016, and unlike previous vehicles of the same type, the headlights have been converted to LED and there are also two HID lights. The most distinctive feature is the beautiful body designed with the gradation of beech trees, and it is equipped with large fixed windows with a good view, rotating reclining seats, semi-private box seats, an observation room, an event space, and a cooling system on the roof, giving it a unique appearance with a storage device and a former air reservoir.

- The car body is designed with a beautiful beech grove gradation, as symbolized by the name "Beech Formation".
- Head/tail lights are lit. The HID lights (white) around the headlights are reproduced as two lights, which is different from the Aoike Formation. All three lights are lit, just like the actual car.
- The front of the leading car is reproduced with a dummy coupler with a cover. The color is reproduced in dark gray, just like the actual car.
- The seats inside the car are reproduced in brown.
- The "ORAHO Counter" inside the third car is reproduced. The window is reproduced when it is blocked by the counter wall.
- The car body color has been changed to a color tone that is closer to the impression of the actual car.
- A slotless motor is used to achieve smooth and quiet running.
- The side display is printed with "All cars designated/Resort Shirakami".
- The mechanical rooftop cooler, ventilator, whistle, antenna, power storage device, main air reservoir, exhaust pipe, and underfloor equipment are reproduced.
