Model of the Aoimori 703 series operating on the Aoimori Railway, the conventional line running parallel to the Tohoku Shinkansen. Successor to the Aoimori 701 series and designed based on JR East’s E721 series, featuring a low-floor barrier-free carbody using small-diameter wheels and an interior layout centered on box seats.
Livery faithfully reproduced in the Aoimori Railway corporate light blue, with the company mascot Mori applied beside the passenger doors. A pink Mori variation is also included.
- Reproduces formation 11 equipped with one-man displays beside the doors.
- Bogies and underfloor equipment such as obstacle deflectors reproduced in bluish gray.
- Beautifully reproduced stainless steel body with corporate light blue livery.
- Character wrapping with the distinctive Mori mascot reproduced, including the pink Mori.
- Reinforced obstacle deflectors with snowplow shape reproduced, with different cutout positions on control motor cars and control cars to match the prototype.
- Coupler swing is not possible. When coupling two end cars for operation, use the included coupling-compatible obstacle deflectors.
- Head and tail lights illuminate, with an on/off switch. Each car’s headlight uses four lamps.
- Bogies are DT72/TR256 for low-floor vehicles. Small-diameter wheels (φ5.2 mm) are used as on the real trains, and the prototype axle spacing of 2,100 mm is realistically reproduced. Snowplow fittings are preinstalled.
- Slotless motor provides smooth and quiet running. Demagnetization plate installed.
