Aichi Loop Railway overview
The Aichi Loop Railway is a 45.3 km third-sector line connecting Okazaki on the Tokaido Main Line with Kōzōji on the Chuo Main Line via Shin-Toyota, which links to the Meitetsu Toyota Line and Mikawa Line. The line opened in January 1988 by combining the former JNR Okata Line section between Okazaki and Shin-Toyota with the newly built Shin-Toyota to Kōzōji section.
