L-train is a collaboration wrapped train between Seibu Railway and the professional baseball team Saitama Seibu Lions. The train is characterized by the team color Legend Blue and features the team logo and seasonal player photos. The first L-train appeared in 2010 and has continued operation with updated vehicles and designs over time. From March 2025 a fourth-generation formation using a Seibu 40000 series 50 subseries set entered service. While maintaining the basic L-train design, the new formation now carries the team symbol Leo Mark to bring the Lions closer to fans.

- Intermediate couplers on all cars are body-mount close-coupling type (no hook). Lead ends use dummy couplers
- Head and tail lights illuminated using white LEDs
- Slotless motor for smooth and quiet running performance
- Front destination display preinstalled; includes two printed replacement front displays and one blank front display
