Class 803 is a non-bimode variant of the Class 800 family that cannot operate on non-electrified sections. It is an all standard-class train with no first class or galley. All five sets are operated by Lumo, running between London King’s Cross and Edinburgh Waverley. The vivid blue livery with a large Lumo logo is a key feature, and recent additions and changes such as the front stripe and catchphrase have altered the train’s appearance.
