Hasegawa brings us a 1/48-scale model kit of the Nakajima Ki-44 Type 2 single-seat fighter Shoki II Type C, with decals reproducing aircraft of the 70th Air Squadron, which was responsible for the defense of the imperial capital! Decals are included for two versions: 70th Air Squadron 3rd Squadron Warrant Officer Ogawa Makoto's aircraft "2" (Kashiwa Airfield, 1945), and 70th Air Squadron Squadron Commander Major Sakado Atsuyuki's aircraft (June 1945).
