Born in 1966 in Kokura, Kitakyushu City. Started oil painting in junior high school.
After entering high school, he studied under Kaju Yamaguchi and switched to calligraphy.
After graduating from university, he expanded his activities to the design field, creating brush characters for packaging, sake labels, CD jackets, posters, etc.
Currently, he is exploring the way of writing not only in Japanese spaces, but also in everyday Western spaces.
He is actively working with a theme of easy-to-understand modern writing that is not confined to conventional calligraphy, with a free and imaginative approach.
