Masato Hattori, a pioneer in dinosaur art, focuses on the theme of "life" and continues to create new works centered on CG restoration art of prehistoric creatures.
In 2011 and 2012, he was in charge of producing posters for the "Yellow River Dinosaur Exhibition", and in 2015, his artwork was used in the theater pamphlet for the blockbuster movie "Jurassic World".
His work is diverse, including handling artwork for Yozen-Sha’s "Dinosaur Visual Encyclopedia" and Shogakukan's Encyclopedia NEO "Dinosaurs".
Additionally, the restoration art is offered not only in Japan but also overseas, including the University of Chicago and the Western Australian Museum, besides providing it to places such as the National Museum of Nature and Science and Nagoya City Science Museum.
