Miki Yuseki ()

Born in 1966 in Kokura, Kitakyushu. He began oil painting in junior high school. After entering high school, he studied under Mr. Yamaguchi and turned to calligraphy. After graduating from university, he expanded his activities into the design field, executing brush lettering for packaging, sake labels, CD jackets, posters, and more. He currently explores the role of calligraphy not only in traditional Japanese spaces but also in everyday Western-style interiors. Unconstrained by conventional calligraphy, he focuses on creating easy-to-understand contemporary calligraphy with free and imaginative ideas.
