Born in Sakai City, Osaka Prefecture. Self-taught in animal painting, she began working in California, USA in 1991. Since then she has presented her works at exhibitions and auctions in the United States, Hong Kong, Singapore, London, and elsewhere.

Her artistic theme is to depict animals with striking, expressive eyes. She produces both powerful big-cat works (tigers, leopards) and charming animal pieces (cats and small animals) in parallel. Currently, licensed products such as puzzles, apparel, and various collector items are sold in many countries around the world.
