About the "Art Mixture Series":
This series recomposes and combines artworks drawn by Akiko Ikeda, the creator of 'Wachifield', into original illustrations exclusive to Yanoman.
Akiko Ikeda — Profile:
Born in Kichijoji, Tokyo. She exhibited works as a creator of original leather dolls. Since 1987 she has been illustrating the stories of 'Wachifield' and the cat Dayan. She has also worked on the animation 'Yoyo no Neko Tsumami' and textbook illustrations, and is active across a wide range of fields. Her books include the novels 'Dayan, to Wachifield', 'Dayan and Gitan', 'Dayan and the Magic of Time', collection books 'Dayan's Birthday', 'Dayan Again Becomes a Baby', and the artbook 'Tashir Unit Museum' (all published by Holp Publishing), among others.
