If you are new to hobby building, there are lots of resources to get you started! It’s also worth noting that all Japanese military ship model kits come with instructions that include plenty of visuals and little to no need to know Japanese. What else do I need for building my Pit-Road models?
While every model kit comes with all the parts you’ll need in the box, we recommend hobby building tools like clippers, tweezers, and filers to safely bring them to life from the sprues to your display stand, which we also sell.
How do these models stack up against the real thing?
Fans of military ship model kits love them for good reason: they are amazingly true to life! In terms of size, look for the scale on the box. For example, if you see “1/700,” that means your ship would be 700 times larger in real life.
