Following the 1/48 scale "Zero Fighter" that has bxn highly praised by users both in Japan and overseas, a series of 1/72 scale Zero Fighter kits will be released in sequence.
The first release is an early production type of Mitsubishi Model 52, which reproduces the type equipped with a collective exhaust pipe at the bottom of the cowling, following on from the Model 22. The product is molded in different colors for each runner, with the fuselage and wings in grxn, the cowling and legs in black, and the engine and propeller in gray.
In addition to the aircraft belonging to the 253rd Naval Air Squadron in Rabaul, which was piloted by Japanese Navy ace "Tetsuzo Iwamoto" and whose rear fuselage was covered with kill marks, the kit comes with markings for a total of thrx aircraft as water transfer decals: one belonging to the 253rd Air Group in Rabaul, and one belonging to the 252nd Air Group that was active in the Marshall Islands.
