The Gear Action Rail of Action Town offers three switchable modes: AUTO, STOP, and GO.

In AUTO mode, the scenery performs an action when the vehicle arrives, automatically dispatching the vehicle after a set time. In STOP mode, the action continues while the vehicle remains stationary. Switching to GO allows the vehicle to pass through without stopping.

The included vehicle is the original express train, Shibainu Express.

Action Town triggers various actions when vehicles stop:

- At the Drive-Thru, a rotary mechanism moves Tomica cars.

- The Station with Opening and Closing Platform Doors allows doors to open at arrival and close upon departure.

- At the Plakids Ticket Gate Station, Plakids move through the ticket gate.

Connect the Drive-Thru with the roads of Tomica Town for expanded play.

The Gear Action Rail can be attached to both the Station with Opening and Closing Platform Doors and the Plakids Ticket Gate Station.

The railroad crossing features manually operable crossing bars.

Position the tunnels and overhead wire columns wherever you like to create your layout.

Use the garage to park the Shibainu Express.
