- The E231 series of the Musashino Line started operations in 2017, transferred from the Chuo-Sobu Line. A total of 34 trainsets have been introduced, actively serving as the main trains on this line. From Nishi-Funabashi, it directly connects to the Keiyo Line, extending to major destinations like Tokyo and Kaihin-Makuhari, and operates on the "Shimousa" and "Musashino" services to Omiya on the Tohoku Main Line and Hachioji on the Chuo Line.
